"Foreign Capital and its Importance for the Development of Regions: India (Bihar), EU Perspective" lecture delivered by Dr. Pradeep Kumar, President of Indo-European Education Foundation, Warsaw, Poland at BIPARD Gaya, India.
On March 16th, 2024, a dedicated lecture on "Foreign Capital and its Importance for the Development of Regions: India (Bihar), EU Perspective" was delivered by Dr. Pradeep Kumar, President of Indo-European Education Foundation, Warsaw, Poland, at BIPARD (Bihar Institute of Public Administration & Rural Development) Gaya, Bihar, India.
The lecture was dedicated to Bihar officers who have been selected through BPSC (Bihar Public Service Commission) and were appointed as the Block Development Officers (BDOs) and Circle Officers (COs) in Bihar who play pivotal roles in the development of the state.
To improve governance, the Bihar government has created two new state-level services including Bihar Revenue Service (BRS) and Bihar Rural Development Service (BRDS). The land-related cases are disposed of by the COs in the state. The total strength of the basic cadre of Circle Officers and equivalent grade officers in Bihar is 886.
The dedicated lecture was about the importance of foreign direct investment in Bihar at the District and Block levels and how it can play a wider role in the development of Bihar from education to economy. Especially, when all those selected officers will handle all FDI-related issues at their district and blocks.
The lecture was very engaging and appreciated by the participating officers.
