28 May 2025, Warsaw, Poland – Marking a significant step in strengthening Indo-Polish cooperation, the Indo-European Education Foundation (IEEF), in partnership with the University of Opole (UO) and Shankarrao Chavan Law College, Pune, India (affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University), officially inaugurated the 5th edition of its flagship program, Academia-Industry Experience in the European Union (AIEEU), at the Embassy of India in Warsaw.
This milestone event represents a major advancement in academic diplomacy, exemplifying IEEF’s ongoing commitment to strengthening educational and institutional partnerships between Europe and South Asia. The initiative fosters innovation, mutual understanding, and cross-border collaboration in the fields of education, research, and professional development.
As part of this edition, IEEF facilitated the arrival of a distinguished Indian delegation consisting of six members from partner academic institutions. The delegation included four promising law students - Lashish Madan Sahu, Dhopaokar Swarlaxmi Dhananjay, Neev Kishore Wadhwani, and Siddhika Sachin Kosamkar, accompanied by renowned legal scholars Dr. Dhamal Gajendra Kondiram and Dr. Kalukhe Shital Mugut. Both educators bring a wealth of experience in legal education and comparative law.
Upon arrival at Warsaw Chopin Airport, the delegation was warmly received by representatives from IEEF and the University of Opole. Later, they were hosted at the Embassy of India in Warsaw by Head Counsellor - Mr. Mohan Lal, and other embassy officials - Mr. Krishnendu Banerjee, Mr. Satyasheel Lall, and Mr. D. P. Pramod Kumar.
"A dedicated discussion session was organized, aiming to provide Indian legal professionals and students with a comprehensive understanding of India’s evolving strategic partnerships with Poland and the broader European Union. Emphasis was placed on the role of comparative legal studies in fostering mutual growth, strengthening legal frameworks, and encouraging academic and institutional collaboration. The discussion also highlighted opportunities for bilateral cooperation in legal education, policy dialogue, and trade-related legal infrastructure, laying the groundwork for deeper, future-oriented engagement between India and EU member states."
Key areas of discussion included bilateral trade, strategic policy alignment, defense cooperation, and the evolution of legal education and institutional frameworks. Embassy officials provided valuable insights into India’s dynamic relationship with Poland and the European Union, emphasizing the critical role of academic diplomacy in shaping global partnerships.
The event further explored the importance of comparative legal studies in modern policy-making, promoting international dialogue, legal reform, and collaborative research. IEEF and UO also identified opportunities for student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects, and academic internships, laying the foundation for a new phase of Indo-European engagement.

The AIEEU project continues to serve as a cornerstone of IEEF’s mission to bridge Europe and South Asia through education and innovation. With this new edition, IEEF, MMM's Shankarrao Chavan Law College, Pune, India, and the University of Opole reaffirm their joint commitment to advancing academic diplomacy, cultural connectivity, and strategic international alliances among India, Poland, and the European Union.
