The Indo-European Education Foundation proudly highlights the successful completion of an Erasmus+ teaching mobility by Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar at Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution in Lithuania, held from April 13–17, 2026. As an academic partner of Hochschule Mittweida, University of Applied Sciences (Germany), the Foundation recognizes this achievement as a meaningful step toward strengthening international academic collaboration and advancing global knowledge exchange.
International Week 2026, the program brought together participants from over 26 countries, creating a dynamic environment for interdisciplinary engagement, cultural exchange, and academic dialogue. Such initiatives reflect the shared commitment of partner institutions to foster innovation and global perspectives in higher education.
During the mobility, Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar delivered lectures to International Business and Entrepreneurship students on the theme “From Local Markets to Global Economies: Business Approaches to Economic Development.” The sessions addressed key aspects of globalization, regional development strategies, and the evolving role of businesses in promoting sustainable economic growth. Through interactive discussions, students gained valuable insights into the complexities of international markets and the importance of strategic thinking in a globalized economy.
A distinctive feature of International Week 2026 was its integrated and multifaceted structure. The Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) for Language Educators brought together academic partners from leading European institutions, emphasizing innovative pedagogical approaches and the role of intercultural communication in shaping a digitally connected and diverse Europe.
The academic experience was further enriched by two major international conferences held on April 14:
- International Scientific Business and Technology Conference 2026
- International Scientific Conference: Health, Environment, Sustainable Development: Interdisciplinary Approach (HESDIA 2026)
These conferences offered critical interdisciplinary perspectives on global challenges, reinforcing the importance of collaborative research and academic synergy. In addition, the International Film Festival provided a cultural platform that complemented the academic program and deepened cross-cultural understanding.
The Indo-European Education Foundation extends its appreciation to the host institution and organizing teams for their exceptional coordination, professionalism, and hospitality. Their efforts ensured a highly impactful and memorable academic exchange.
The Foundation also acknowledges Hochschule Mittweida, University of Applied Sciences, for its continued commitment to internationalization and for fostering strong academic partnerships that enable such meaningful engagements.
This Erasmus+ mobility stands as a testament to the power of collaboration across borders. It underscores how data-driven insights, cultural diversity, and digital innovation can collectively empower future generations and contribute to building a more inclusive, connected, and forward-looking Europe.
