Historic Agreements Signed Between Lublin University of Technology and Indo-European Education Foundation to Advance India–Europe Academic Cooperation

The Indo-European Education Foundation (IEEF), Warsaw, Poland, has achieved another important milestone in promoting academic cooperation between Europe and India through the signing of two landmark agreements with Lublin University of Technology (LUT) and Marathwada Mitra Mandal (MMM), Pune, India. The agreements mark the beginning of a long-term partnership aimed at fostering academic excellence, research collaboration, innovation, student mobility, and institutional development.
The signing ceremony took place at Lublin University of Technology during the official visit of a high-level Indian academic delegation participating in the Academia–Industry Experience in the European Union Programme (21 June – 3 July 2026), coordinated by the Indo-European Education Foundation.

Memorandum of Understanding between Lublin University of Technology and IEEF
The first agreement was a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Lublin University of Technology and the Indo-European Education Foundation, Warsaw. The MoU/ Agreement establishes a strategic framework for strengthening academic and scientific cooperation between Poland, India, and other European partner institutions coordinated through the Foundation.
The agreement was signed by:
- Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar, President, Indo-European Education Foundation (IEEF), Warsaw, Poland
- Prof. dr hab. inż. Paweł Droździel, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Lublin University of Technology
The Memorandum provides a platform for developing joint research projects, faculty and student exchanges, international conferences, educational programmes, innovation initiatives, and collaborative activities designed to enhance global engagement between European and Indian higher education institutions.

Letter of Intent Connects Lublin University of Technology, IEEF and Marathwada Mitra Mandal
A second strategic document, a Letter of Intent (LoI), was also signed between the Indo-European Education Foundation, Lublin University of Technology, and Marathwada Mitra Mandal (MMM), Pune, India.
The Letter of Intent expresses the mutual commitment of the three institutions to explore collaborative opportunities in:
- Joint academic and scientific research
- Faculty and student mobility programmes
- International conferences, seminars and workshops
- Collaborative publications
- Innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives
- Capacity-building and professional development programmes
- Future dual-degree and certificate programmes
- Industry–academia cooperation between Europe and India
The agreement establishes the foundation for long-term institutional cooperation and serves as a gateway for expanding partnerships between Lublin University of Technology and leading higher education institutions affiliated with Marathwada Mitra Mandal in Pune, India.

The university representatives discussed future opportunities for expanding cooperation in engineering, technology, applied sciences, research, innovation, and international education.

Indian Academic Delegation
The agreements were signed during the official visit of a distinguished delegation from Marathwada Mitra Mandal (MMM), Pune, India, one of India's leading educational trusts with institutions affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University.
