Mission

The Indo-European Education Foundation (IEEF) is a non-profit organization and Research Centre operating under the Ministry of Higher Education, Government of Poland, based in Warsaw.
Since 2013, IEEF has supported the objectives of European higher education policy by facilitating international cooperation among universities, research institutions, industry stakeholders, and public authorities. The Foundation promotes academic excellence, research, innovation, inclusiveness, and global mobility, aligning with EU higher education and research priorities.
IEEF’s strategic focus is to enhance cooperation between Poland, India, and the European Union through an Academia–Industry Interlinked Model, supporting the internationalization of higher education institutions and strengthening links between education, research, and the labor market. Its activities align with EU priorities such as capacity building, global partnerships, knowledge transfer, and skills development through collaborative research, student and staff mobility, and institutional partnerships. Through its recognized contributions and award-winning initiatives, IEEF actively supports sustainable international cooperation and the global dimension of European education and research.

Global Achievers’ Award 2020-21 for “Excellence in Education”, in recognition of ‘outstanding professional achievement & Contribution in Nation Building’ by Indian Achievers’ Forum, New Delhi, India. Driven by a vision to bridge India, Poland, and the European Union, IEEF fosters impactful collaboration through a dynamic academia–industry cooperation model, with the following key objectives:
- To identify and strengthen the university’s role in building new relations between India, Poland, and the EU;
- To be a unique institutional Platform between Poland, India, and the European Union to foster civil society dialogue and cooperation between individuals, enterprises, scholars, research institutions, universities, GO & NGOs.
- To foster opportunities for Polish, Indian, and other European universities for collaborative research & publications;
- To support and advise to the Polish Universities (public & private) regarding new cooperation & research with Indian Universities;
- To promote scientific development to meet the challenges and expectations of research scholars, students, and business elites;
- To encourage Indian students to pursue higher education in Poland (EU) at all levels of studies- Bachelor, Master, and PhDs, and provide support to the member/ Partner Polish Universities for the recruitment of highly qualified students from India and the Indian region (Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives) through the newly launched IEEF’s project “CET-India Test”;
- To co-operate with local authorities, local and national government, universities, organisations, social & cultural organisations, individuals, and legal entities in the country and abroad;
- To support the development and promotion of culture, arts, and heritage for Poland in India, and India in Poland/Europe;
- To create a provision of public awareness of the contemporary Indo-Polish (Indian and Polish) art collections;
- To provide research support to the EU and Polish institutions to attract foreign students through various means to their organisations.
